		Carolina Lighting and Design was established February of 2003 with the goal to offer builders and contractors custom lighting design and buying solutions. Within those five plus years Carolina Lighting and Design has evolved into a leading lighting supply and design company. Carolina Lighting and Design parent company is McDonald Electric. McDonald Electric was established on 1998 by Richard McDonald and from 1 truck to an on call electrical in many locations across the NC/SC area. McDonald Electric saw a need to provide its customers with the same customer service and response for their lighting and hardware needs. Thus Carolina Lighting and Design was formed. Today Carolina Lighting and Design has proven to be the go to company for electric and lighting design.
